Prototype flights at the 2010 AKA Grand Nationals in Seaside, OR... A new kite design from John Barresi in conjunction with ITW, the Kymera was conceived as a blend of old-school and new-school to produce both trick and precision/loading ability in a wide wind range.
Built to drive and track with sharp, stable cornering when loaded up, the Kymera is a great kite for sharp banking turns and arcs with small powerful inputs, backed up by its smooth style throughout a wide range of tricks.
Coming in 2011!

Nice video.
But what sets the Kymera apart from other good dual lines?

The way it flies reminds me quite strongly of the Benson Phantom. I mean that as a compliment by the by. ;¬) I don't fly as much as I should, but I have an ancient Fizz Phantom. It's a bit stretched in places, but some longer standoffs and a leech line helped. Great work there, and it looks like a great kite.
