Thanks so much. I shall look for some lollies at the store with the colour that I need. I don't think we have "red ranchers" here in Oz. That sounds just cool. I shall rewatch the video 3. Cheers

@colliegirl27 For the windows alot of people use hard candy that they melt into the windows. I think they crush it and put it in then bake it untill it is melted.

Just a question if you have time. I notice that some use a yellow or tinted type mixture to go into the window recess so that it looks like glass. Do you know what this mixture is and how to make it? I was thinking of making this for the windows and putting in some led lights. Tks

@colliegirl27 if you check out gingerbread lesson 3 around :47 second mark I used red Jolly Ranchers for the windows, you can use a variety of hard candy (see below). After you bake your bread and it cools, place the candies inside the window and warm them up in the oven to let them melt. I have seen great stained glass windows with a variety of colors. Be patient and let the windows cool before moving off cookie sheet or parchment paper. Some candies are harder than others.
