I think Muse is great. So is Matt Bellamy. I see your perspective, but his constant breathing, (to me) makes him sound even sexier. However, I respect your opinion and I definately agree that even musically, Muse is one of the greatest artists of this era. :)

They are entertainers, not artists. They lie a bit, too:

"They will not force us

They will stop degrading us

They will not control us

We will be victorious"

And people just jump around and clap, and shout...

SPEAK THE TRUTH, you rock n' blhac Gaga's! What about: "they force us, they degrade us, they control us, will we be victorious?"

Don't like them anymore! Always showing up in the videoclips, always the fucking image. Enough!

@andrefreakincreator i agree, and also music is an art form. musicians are very often referred to as artists because music is a type of art like painting or dancing

Well maybe that's because he doesn't. I don't even know where you came up with that. You can't just make things up about people. Even if he did, big deal! Go cry about it. Like really if someone breathing makes you dislike an artist you have bigger problems than telling te world that he sucks

It's strange to hear anyone say Matt Bellamy is "average".

But I do understand the breathing. Matt recently has gotten over that, like in the most recent album, "The Resistance".

Try this; Listen to Newborn.

Now; Listen to Newborn, and try to point out the inhaling/breathing-in. Its crazy, and somewhat annoying if you actually, want to selectively hear that.

Good review though, I love seeing reviews like this!
