We need to pray daily that the Lord will give us the strength to lay our lives down freely for him and his cause.

I actually had the privilege of seeing Steve Saint and Mincaye (the man from the tribe that killed Steve's father) at a Steven Curtis Chapman concert. They shared the story on stage about how the whole tribe was lead to Christ after going through all of this. It was truly an Incredible experience to see live, I will Never forget it. Every time I think about it I have to Praise and shout "Hallelujah!" What an AWESOME God we serve!

I watched the actual movie the was made of the men who went over, and shone in Gods glory. It was extremely well done, the story just pulls at my heart strings. :')

Saw Steven in concert with Micaye and Steve Saint. Have the DVD too. Hope they release it again. Not a better story or better music out there. We go to alot of concerts but have never seen anything to compare with the message or the music of "Declaration". Would hope that every Christian and every music lover would watch and hear the story. A modern day picture of what God's love looks like. The world so needs God. Thinking they will see Him in a new light through this story and music.

Absolutely beautiful. Only God can take a murder and turn him into a loving, peaceful, father of the Church. Bless You Jesus.

Theres No Greater Love!

what is that chant at the end saying?

The chant you hear is by a man named Mincaye, who was actually one of the men who martyred Jim Elliott, Nate Saint, et al and later became pastor of the church started by the Elliott group.
He is chanting in his native language (Waodoni), and you can read the translation on the screen.
