  • Hey man great videos! Definitely going to start watching your videos and listening to your radio show! I have one question, is it o.k to do cardio in the morning and do weights 3 times a week during the evening? Meaning out 5 days of a week, i'll be doing cardio in the morning and mondays, tuesdays, and fridays ill be doing my wieghts during the evening. the reason for this is because i go with a friend that is teaching me. is it good or bad? i hope u answer my question thank you!

  • Holla! Have you ever tried - fast abs magic (do a search on google)? Ive heard some great things about it and my cooworker got detailed Six pack abs and lost a truck load of of belly fat with it.

  • Oh hai! Have you considered - fast abs magic (just google it)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my mate got beautiful 6 pack abs and lost a truck load of of belly fat with it.

  • Hey! Have you considered - fast abs magic (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my cousin got really defined 6 pack abs and lost lots of fat with it.

  • What are your thoughts on cutting and bulking? I'm guessing you cut to get at a really low bf% which makes building muscle impossible without a calorie surplus, then you bulk up to a moderate bf% which makes it possible to build muscle without getting a calorie surplus everyday?

I'm still a little confused on the whole thing but that's my theory, although some people say you need the surplus even when you've bulked up...so confusing

  • @maggie26able It is true, it just depends on the deficit. However muscles grow when they recover. What he says is true to an extent though, if you don't stress them, they won't grow no matter how much you rest or eat, but if you don't rest or eat and you lift, you'll lose weight but your muscles won't recover enough to grow. It's a delicate balance I think. I know it's been another 4 months since your post, I hope your results have improved since then! Good luck!

  • Hey steve, I enjoy your videos and your "cut the bullshit" take on it all. I was wondering though, is it optimal to try and gain muscle while losing fat or is it better to just lift heavy for strength rather than mass, while in a deficit to lose fat? For example, which would get me from point A to point B sooner? Going on a cutting routine while gaining strength for 3 months, and then using new strength and no deficit to lift for mass the next 3, or just going for fat loss and mass gain for 6?

  • So scientific

  • Oh hello! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (do a google search)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my friend lost tons of weight with it.

  • Ive been cutting calories for 3 months. Ive continued working out but my max bench has dropped from 315 to 260. I attribute this to lack of calories. I wish what steve was saying is true but muscles worked hard require a lot of calories and rest to build up. you can certainly tone and improve cardio but not build muscle.
