GMOs making Americans fat? (Part 2)

Among all developed countries, Americans are the fattest people in the world. The World Health Organization found over 60% of the American population is obese or overweight. Even more disturbing, the U.S. is the only country in the developed world to label obesity a national security health risk. Top Pentagon officials have warned Americans are becoming so fat, most of those volunteering for the Army are disqualified because of their size. Child obesity is also on the rise in the U.S. The Centers for Disease Control estimates 1 in every 3 American kids are either obese or overweight. Jeffrey Smith, the author of Seeds of Deception, points to the mass production and consumption of genetically modified foods in the U.S. as a possible source of the problem.

I dont think GMOs are directly responsible. Its the combination between processed flower, high frustose corn syrop, too much animal fats and deep fried food. All of this at the same time and in a high quantity and you have a recipee for disaster. It might be the food additives that enhance taste that stimulate the appetite, but not GMO tomatoes and other fruits (if we are taling only about obesity). This woman does not inform accurately. I doubt she even has a basic science background.

According to the bmi chart just about all our pro athletes fall into the obese/overweight category. Even the body builders. Bull shit

Because those farmers pay Monsanto for the seeds and Roundup, and they take out loans from Big Banks and Government Creditors to finance the purchases. It's a pretty sweet deal for the government-corporate fascist collusive enterprise that our food system has become.
