*whistles* Nature working this perfectly is almost enough to convince me that there is an intelligent, creative force behind all of it... But then I remember the odds of me being born, just 10 generations ago, and I once again become an agnostic who simply marvel at nature's wonderful complexity.

@otaku8489 It's called natural selection, buddy. It's actually quite fascinating.

@otaku8489 There's a perfectly rational explanation for these flowers having evolved. I'd like to see an equally rational explanation for the creationist version of why some creatures exist. According to most religions, animals don't have souls, yet for the wild ones their lives are lived mostly in hunger and suffering and end in extreme pain and terror. What kind of benevolent god creates animals to suffer and yet there's no reward for them afterwards?

The way science tries to explain these sort of phenomena under an evolutionary umbrella is actually quite hilarious.

thats amazing how does a flower know how a female bee looks like ans smell like? how does a plant even come up with schemes?? dam nature you scary!!!

I have the most awkward boner right now.
So these flowers are essentially assholes. Nothing but a series of bee blue balls.
