this type damage comes from spinning very heavy loads, Like blankets and rugs, and quilts. These washers were never intended to wash more then 30 lbs of wet luandry....

@BoyneMaiden :(

@BoyneMaiden how is it everything thats cheap, yet you just said it may have been built with some quality? But whatever you mean, i will have this direct drive washer for years on end, screw the new HE energy star, with millions of sensors to wash clothes
-
@BoyneMaiden yeah, thats probably the cheapest part of the washer, but a new one is like 50 bucks, i was like huh?
-
@BoyneMaiden ............also i need to get a new water selector, because sometimes it can get stuck slightly off the notch for the water selector and it over fills, but ive been keeping a close eye on the nob so it don't do that again.

@BoyneMaiden Im not sure which year it was built but i belive it was like very late 90's like 98 or 99 maybe even the 2000 but more than likely the late 90's so its going on 12 years old or so. Still works except some stuff is broke and getting weak, i bought replacement parts to keep the old thing going, new lid switch, the agitator dog paws, and a clutch kit, because mine is having trouble getting up to speed and takes off slow, but no funny noises or anything.....................

@BoyneMaiden how, i still use a direct drive washer and it works still and will outlast the new digital bs washers
-
Heh it "WORK'S"

Thanks for the comment. I had to adjust the alignment of the drive block . . . I had just replaced the basket drive and had put the drive block on the shaft without lining up the notches . . . :-) Everything is fine now!
