Hello all, and welcome to let's play Titan Quest! This is a great game that unfortunately suffers from the "Diablo Clone" stigma, and while true, many people overlook this gem. It's very long and very in-depth, and more interesting with more people, but I am going to work on it anyways. In this episode, the intro cutscene, the basics, and first quests.

NOTE: I will be completing the other games I have going, but will be starting these to keep up my variety. This one will be a side-project mostly, as it requires a great deal of time. Fear not, fans regular updates will be made to all of my work :)

  • Thumbs up if your here because of steam sales!

  • @BanditDragoon Did you even listen to me? Did you read any of the other comments on this video where I completely defend this game NOT being a clone? Relating to another similar game does NOT mean that it is a clone, nor indicate that's what I think. You might want to stop misinterpreting what I said.

You can't deny the fact that Diablo was one of the first of it's kind to go this route. Games like Fallout or Syndicate were not quite the same style. That's the way it is.

  • @ChronoDA If you have a multi-core cpu, you may want to use affinity mode to switch off a couple of cores so that you are only using one for the game. I have heard that can be helpful.

  • @thewrongchat Two at least, maybe more, of the skills, have companions in them. I have played with both a rock creature and a liche king for companion and they do make the game a lot easier, especially at later levels where they can draw a lot of agro from your character. They can also level up as you do to gain more powers and more resistance so they are less vulnerable. And you can set how agressive you want them to be on the fly.

  • @Trapdoorscience I agree. In fact I would say if you have not played a pc adventure/rpg game before, Immortal Throne would be a perfect introduction, as it is very generous with quest information, lots of drops and mythological stories to entertain as well. A nice game for the kids, btw!

  • @sravazdurga You cannot continue into IT directly from your TQ finale, but IT contains the entire TQ game, plus some improvements. It would be cool if you could import your TQ save into IT and resume from that point, but not so.

  • @pobiakc4 I believe you can do so, but with the Gold Edition, which includes both games for about $US9.99 total, there is really no reason not to play both. Immortal Throne is basically identical to the original game, but with many hours of additional comment, plus some nice changes like the roving merchants. If you can only play one game, though, choose Immortal Throne, as it includes everything in the original.

  • @Inf3rnalBlade

It's not an exclusive if it's on both.

  • Huh, a game where they pronounce Latin words correctly? Impossiburu!

  • Can you play Immortal Throne without having the original version?

  • Diablo 2 meets God of War! cant get more epic than this! PC and Playstation have the best exclusives!!

  • I wouldn't call it a clone so much as doing what Blizzard was not willing to do at the time. Blizzard isn't the same company it was when they released LoD.
