This is nothing new, as campaigns have been paying people to become active for years now. And it is not illegal, as far as I know. There's nothing wrong with paying someone to help spread a message. However, it does show the limited motivations within the Romney campaign. There is not much grassroots here in South Florida if people have to be paid to get out and spread a critical message about the future of this country.

On camera, a Romney "supporter" at an early voting location says he was paid by the South Florida Romney campaign effort to wear a shirt and maintain a presence. Having a handful of Romney supporters at the site likely helped make the impression on potential voters who lack the capacity to think for themselves that they, because of Romney's large "support", they should vote for him. Makes perfect sense...

The 14 dislikes come from Romney and his wives.

My step-mom supports Mitt Romney because of "intuition"! Well if people on this country can no longer be reached with logic, then we must truly be lost..

LOL, the Romney campaigners obviously rolled up to a Home Depot and paid a bunch of illegal immigrants to wear Romney shirts and pretend to support him. They probably also paid illegal immigrants to vote for him!

The name of the "second part" to this video in my Channel is called, "Romney Supporters DENY Being Paid (Judge For Yourself)".

It's hard to tell the context of the setting in this video. If you go to my YouTube channel, you'll find a second part to THIS video, which shows other Romney supporters who were there, who DENY being paid. I think the only reason this old guy admitted to being paid was that he was alone from the rest of the group, and had formed a trustworthy bond with other Ron Paul supporter that's standing next to him. When I showed up, they were standing aside from everyone else, chatting

Why are two people standing there by themselves holding signs in a not very populated area?

Lastly, you might be interested in another video by someone else that gives another sobering example of how political campaigns (I'm sure Obama's got similar tricks) try to give the "illusion" of support and enthusiasm to excite other unsuspecting voters. Type into YouTube: "Romney Fake Signs". It shows a Romney event where the Romney staff created a bunch of signs that looked "home-made and original" and passed them out to people in the crowd, to give the illusion of "grassroots" support
