Story;
THE SEQUEAL TO 'Forbidden'.

A funeral is set on the beach for Jacob Black after he died in the car crash while trying to leave Forks to get away from the heartbreaker Rosalie. Unable to attend the funeral because of where it is and because of the hate people are showing her, Rosalie decides enough is enough and leaves Forks - and Emmett. Her heart doesn't belong to him anymore; the only person she can think of is the one she didn't reach in time; Jacob. She's dyed her hair brunette because she wants a new life, a change, a new her and because Jacob once told her it was the scent of her brilliant blonde hair that held him so captivated (I needed a good reason, okay?).

She moves to a quieter place in hope to escape the memory of Jacob Black. She's constantly haunted by the memories though, regretting the way she acted, wishing she could go back in time and change the way she treated Jacob. She wishes she'd just accepted his love instead of trying to reject it.

Except there's a twist; Jacob isn't dead. Come on, he's werewolf. Did you think a car crash was going to kill him? He's alive and ironically because Lauren wouldn't have a story otherwise, he's in the same area as Rosalie. As he's walking down the street, all he can think of is the first time he imprinted on Rosalie and seeing her with another guy. This is why he isn't trying to find her; he thinks her heart will always belong with Emmett. He doesn't know she was following him to tell him she loved him the night he crashed. So instead, he left and let everyone carry on believing he's dead. Now he's living alone, mourning in self pity and thinking of nothing but Rosalie.

One night at a nightclub, he smells a familiar scent. His head snaps in that direction and he sees Rosalie - except she's dancing with another guy. He smiles sadly to himself because he realizes how little he meant to her. What he doesn't know is that Rosalie is only there, dancing with a guy because she's desperately just trying to distract herself from her memories, from her guilt and her pain. The same memories seep through their veins. Jacob sits at home, unable to think about anything else. Rosalie returns from her night out, not feeling any better, still haunted by the guilt of rejecting him.

Jacob stands across the street, staring at Rosalie as she smokes, unaware of his presence. She can smell him, but she thinks it's her imagination. Jacob wants to approach her, but he doesn't; he doesn't think she wants him. He thinks she's moved on because every time he's seen her, she doesn't seem overly depressed about his death. Instead, they carry on mourning; Jacob sits at home more, Rosalie smokes more.

Some memories of the crash.

Rosalie is at an outdoor party and for once she's laughing. Jacob watches her from afar - he's stalking her now - and sees her happy. This makes him smile, makes him laugh. Rosalie stops and senses something. She can smell him. She can sense him. She turns her head in that direction, but doesn't see him; she just sees 'someone' getting into a car. She doesn't realize it's him; once again she blames her imagination.

Jacob sits in the car, thinking of her, thinking of her smile and in the end, he can't take it. He calls her and she answers, but he doesn't speak. He hangs up and races off; he can't say what he needs to on the phone.

Rosalie walks into her home one night and is shocked; there's an unexpected visitor sat upon her bed, waiting for her.




Personal Opinion;

FINALLY GOT THIS FINISHED. It was a complete nightmare and I nearly gave up on it because at one point it went through a stage where it decided to keep crashing and crashing and crashing and crashing and yeah, you get the point. I absolutely love this pairing. I know they don't happen, BUT THEY SHOULD!
