Just got a copy of Slash's new CD this weekend, and this song to me stood out above the rest. I just moved back from Cali myself, so the lyrics hit home as well.

Amazing cover man, a lil tip though is isntead of using a foot pedal to add gain or distortion, keep it on the most distorted setting that you will use during the song, and if you roll back on the guitars volume it acts like a gain control. I find it adds alot more charictor to the tone, and shalsh does it :P. Otherwise keep it up :)

Great cover and what emgs are in your guitar?

@DEFLEPPFAN1994 They're the Zakk Wylde 81/ 85 combo, but instead of having them 81 bridge and 85 neck, I have them reversed to 85 bridge, and 81 neck... Thanks for watching and for the feedback...
