Channel 4 Ident 1982: Different Variations

The original 1982 ident music for Channel 4 was written by David Dundas. Numerous variations of the same idea were used. Here are a few examples of the different versions heard on the channel.

The very last one is not a variation of Fourscore. That theme replaced Fourscore in 1992 so they didn't have to pay £3.50 every time they played the ident.

The first one is my favourite - I love the drum roll at the beginning and end of the rather dramatic fourscore.
