Highlights: Penguins @ Red Wings: Game 5 2009 Playoffs

Well said. Maybe it 's an easier loss than a 2-1 OT loss. Maybe it's what is needed to refocus on game 6. Maybe such a lopsided game will give that extra fire for the Pens in Game 6. They've got 2 days off to get past this game.

Chants of "Crosby sucks" started. Not a great idea, Wings fans. Ask the Flyers fans why. Go back to your end of game sing-a-longs and standing and turning to look at the cameras.

This definitely isn't over yet. Any Wings fan that says so is crazy for thinking that. The Pens definitely defeated themselves tonight. Not to take away from Detroit, but you can't take those penalties against them. It just can't happen.

And I managed to post this recap without once mentioning how bad NBC sucks. Oops.

You also did not "destroy" us in the finals like some of u penguin fans are claiming. You beat us 2-1 in a game 7 I hardly call that destroying us. For those of u fans that say red wings fans have no class, u guys are taking jabs at the city of detroit which has nothing to do with hockey, pretty fucking hypocritical to me. Man I watch these vids all the time but I'm so tired of all the fucking fighting going on over it. People say the Red Wings are so much better than the pens. Im from pittsburgh but I'm also a huge overall hockey fan. If the wings were really that much better, this series wouldn't have gone to 7 games. It would have been over in 4. You call it a tainted cup? Its called suck it up and accept that other teams can win. The red wings are an amazing club, but people act like pitt got there on accident

i always wondered.... What would have happened. if the red wings won the cup in 2009???? what would happen to the penguins.. cause you all know there would be some moves.. losing to the same team 2 yrs in a row... OR!.. its pittsburgh won in 2008..would they have met in the 2009 finals????????

This is why the Eastern Conference is like the AHL compared to the Western Conference.Can u imagine if the Wings were in the Eastern Conference where they really belong?They might have been in the finals every year.Because the Devils were the only team that was decent in that conference the last 15 years.
