@Chladaska pointless comment.

Its wrong to be rude about one form of riding or the other. Ive ridden trails all my life and i love it, but i also ride english, and i love that to. Saying english riders treat their horses badly is stereotypical. I would never hurt my horse whether riding western or english. No matter what kind of riding style we do the horse can always get hurt, and so can we. I ride a horse who was riden western all his life, but is now ridden english and he is no different.

Riders shouldn't diss other riders its. wrong. and for the whole english crap. english horse and western horses are the same. the only difference is how they are ridden. and a true rider shouldn't need a part of a saddle to hold on to their horse you should learn to use your body to stay on. and the chances of getting you neck snapped is a 1 in 1000 chance. Most english competitions are in outdoor areas unless its freezing out hell they even show in the rain.

why>? Please dont comment badly about western riding - it is perfectly fine, and generally better for a horse than english - have you not seen our Rolkur training? Our bearing reins?
