A big family American Thanksgiving meal is the only one that I am passionate about and the only holiday I throw myself into wholeheartedly. Truly a time to give thanks for family, health and good food. Days of cooking, cleaning, preparing and all that hard work is demolished within an hour. Somehow, that doesn't seem right...what happened to gracious dining? Don't know...never experienced it...my family belongs to the "swallow the food whole and as quickly as possible" clan. Probably a vestige left over from stone age days just in case an animal came up on you while chewing. Eat and RUN...

Hope your Thanksgiving was bountiful but in case 2009 wasn't a memorable year, Travels With Sheila hopes 2010 will be better for everyone.
