I'm Catherine Hardwicke, the director. We finally got up and running, so now I can show you some of the crazy cool things that have been happening on the set.

Everybody here in Portland is working hard to make Stephenie Meyer's delicious book come ALIVE.

Here's a video from our early days on the stage. We had to shoot the most difficult set Week One -- the ballet studio -- with 360 degrees of mirror walls, raging fires, floor-demolishing stunts and vampire dismemberment. Nothing like getting the hard part out of the way first...
