What's also sad about this is that PETA defended the actions of these employees. PETA equates people who eat meat to the serial killer Jeffrey Dhamer, the killing of pigs to the Holocaust, and the sacrifice of Jesus to a pig being killed for food, but are perfectly fine with their employees going to a vet's offices, telling said vets they are going to find homes for the puppies/kittens, then taking them straight to their van to be killed.

i volunteer for animal control. how about a hand for those guys? by law, the HAVE to house animals, whether they're dogs, cats, goats, horses, alligators, panthers, bears, or elephants.

peta's logic is broken. their website says that all cats should be indoor cats. and windows are the perfect tv for kitties and that they can happily watch a bird for hours. i beg to differ. i've owned cats. they know that bird's just waiting for them. they love the outdoors. they may not live as long, but they'll be happier. and just because you're a vegetarian/vegan doesn't mean your cat has to be. cat's are carnivores by default. taking that away from a cat is like taking milk from a baby.

I am vegetarian. I don't wear leather or fur. I would rather support my local SPCA than PETA. They give us a bad name and I hate that their name has become synonymous with animal rights. They disgust me.
