Oh man, this one brings me back, when I lived in Sarasota, FL during hurricane Charley our forecast called for wind SW 100 to 120 MPH. Wind could occasionally gust over 120 MPH. That was fun, should have recorded it.

Check out my Hurricane Katrina local forecast...It called for winds over 100 mph...winds gusts could reach 150 mph.
