  • @zephiwho So there's plenty of video of his fighting a skilled and resisting opponent?

  • shall i go to his seminar in this summer? because i am from germany and i will be there in the summer. is it useful for me?

  • i used to train at the old Market St. school. i even fixed the dummy legs. he lent my father his own dummy we picked up from his house. he emphasized a lot on inner strength...and saw 4 guys flew back with his open palm tap to their chests.

  • If anyone doubts how powerful Chris Chan really is. Go to his school , go up to his face and say, "I am more powerful than you are." I guarantee you , you won't leave that school without using your hands and elbows to crawl out.

  • @TOWinkworthIpswich

wing chun is said to be the easiest fightingsystem.

... not like in any other martial arts where you HAVE to REMEBER which technique would fit in a certain situation in wing chun you just take any kind of force coming towards you and make sth. out if it. you even could fight blindfolded.

so wing chun is that certain kind of key you were talking about !!

... but what am i saying ... you comment shows that you wouldn´t even have a clue what i am talking about ^^

  • @sild123 actually, as i said earlier, "simultaneous attack and defense" (lin siu dai da) is one concept in wing chun. but you can't simultaneously attack and defend for example, if you are preempting an opponent's motion, or if you first block and then defend. YOU are talking about "when the hand is free you strike" (lat sau jik cheung).

  • @sild123 so what's your point. you posted on my video you are not a wing chun sifu. so ....

  • @kwansao true, but that concept must be there when we fight all the time, at least, we must tried to do so. only movement like bong sau which is a passive movement (or technique wtever) and a transitional move. under all circumstances we try to hit the guy unless there's an obstruction. just because its just one concept of wing chun doesnt meant we can abandoned that concept when we able to do so. that is againts the principle of WC

  • @Standingwithfeast The U.S. economy and God have nothing to do with kung fu.

  • @kwansao thanks for the invitation. I think you and I need to be more concern about the economical future of our home land than to fight over my individual belief. I just don't like to see to a bunch of non Chinese possibly being scammed by Chinese martial art con man. I have seen and known folks that have taken so called "wing chun" and were taught wrong. Any ways, when it is time for God to take you, not even Wing Chun can keep you on earth longer. Have a nice day.
