this interview feels shallow and false. i love chris' music and i think he is something of a genius. but, in this interview, somethings missing!

towards the end of the vid, timbaland goes on about being a composer. i hate it when technicians take themselves too seriously. without talented performers in the studio, timbaland is just some lonely guy sitting in an empty room with a lot of expensive equipment.

Why the hell would you want to shorten Chris Cornell's bravado!!!! Oh that makes me so irritated! That's one of the best parts of his amazing voice. You can here so much of it in Audioslave, no wonder he didn't like it. It's like Chris is being duped here.... THIS MAKES ME WANT TO "SCREAM" LITTERALLY!

So much pointless hate. You don't have to hate Scream to love Audioslave. You don't have to worry that this is Chris' new direction. Chris doesn't work in "directions". I saw a clip of him singing an incredible song on an italian show. It had a latin feel and it was nothing like Scream or Soundgarden. You should respect that. And if you don't, you should respect the man who made something you love enough, that you don't affiliate your hatred with him. Peace

Wow, the thinly veiled racist hate being spewed by some people on here is disgusting. I'm speaking as someone whose been a fan of Soundgarden for years but appreciates Timbaland (before he went really corporate); thus, I can see where both artists are coming from. Scream may not be to my tastes, but fair play to both Cornell and Timbaland for attempting something a bit different. I'm sure Chris himself would be disgusted to number some of the poisonous bigots on here as his fans.
