Back then we had no idea what all this imagery ment....There WAS no internet to look up subject matter on symbolism BUT . 30yrs later I can understand alot more of it since I have studied This band extensivley throughout the last 20yrs....There was so much misteeq that surrounded this band & thats exactley what they wanted.Page understood that it was more important for the imagery be there at all & NOT for everyone to neccesarily understand it.

TSRTS is a compilation of the band memebers dreams that they had back in the day. nothing more nothing less
just some visuals to go with the music

My understanding of the beginning of TSRTS is Zeppelin hitting back at their critics! When I loved LZ, I had NO ONE on my side. The media were SILENT, the radio was SILENT, TV was silent, only the record store was my friend. You had to visit the HIP record store. The drug store didn't carry such evil records .lol Only the record stores that sold paraphenalia would dare to sell led zeppelin and bongs..haha
