At the Nike Pro Training Camp, Chris Paul works on his court vision and control by stacking cones, keeping control of his dribble, and finishing with a mid-range jumper.

  • @thesniper321 because nash and cp3 are pass first PGs. And if my no scoring threat argument doesn't work, then why are people like Kyrie Irving, Deron Williams, Kemba Walker, Brandon Jennings, etc. just out there shooting the lights out?

There are pass-first PGs, and there are scoring PGs. Just because they're scorers, doesn't mean they will not set up their teamates. It's not a bad thing if your PG can score. That's like saying Dwight Howard should only rebound and not score

  • @DJDEMO1000

there is nothing as a scoring point guard, just undersize SG, the point guard role will always be to make his teammate better give noah to chris paul and he will average 15-16 easily, people tends to forget tyson chandler looks like a gifted offensive player while playing with paul. SMH

D rose is getting assist cuz like iverson, he always has the ball in his hands

btw your bs about no scoring threat doesn't work,I don't remember nash or cp3 in the hornets shooting so much

  • nipple twist for good luck wtf?

  • They are two different types of point guards! Chris Paul is a MUCH better distributor as he averages 8.7 apg on a 23% USG rating while Rose gets 7.9 apg simply because he has the ball A LOT (29% USG rating).

Rose nuthuggers don't understand these things because they aren't spoonfed these things by ESPN. However, Paul creates shots for teammates while Rose drives and kicks (if they are open, it's "creating"...if they are not, nothing was accomplished).

*live in Illinois - not a homer!

  • No wonder... Last game i kept seeing his other hand w/o the ball searching for cones!

  • @Joshdyisdifh Yeah, I know right? He only averages 8-9 assists a game! That's a shooting guard right there!

  • @Joshdyisdifh that's what Ive been telling rose fans. its not a knock on rose but i think cp3 plays the pg position how its supposed to be played. he is more of a shooting guard like Westbrook.

  • Are you serious? Rose is a scoring POINT GUARD in the truest sense of the word. If you watch bulls games, you'll see that he's always looking to set up his teamates with easy passes and capitalizes off pick and roll situations. The only reason he scored as much as he does is because outside of Deng and Boozer, the Bulls didn't really have any scoring threats last year.

Don't tell me he's more of a shooting guard just because you sat on Youtube and looked at some highlights..gtfo here son
