i dont really like albies how do u even cast one, anyway the penn special senater 113h wide holds 1000 yards of 80lb braid and can cast up to 100 yards its made in america too, either that or a penn 950 spinning reel holds 500 yards of 80lb braid and can cast 100 yards, both great shark reels for the beach, and both are greatly priced at 150 US dollars

@curtgowdysharkhunter
If you are going to use a geared reel on the beach, then these tips are even more important to you.
FYI : Alvey Reels can also cast 100 yards in the hands of a skilled caster.
The main thing is that you enjoy your fishing, whatever tackle you use.
All the best,

What strength line are you using in this video? Is it mono-filament?

@chicks123
We were using monofilament, 6 pound breaking strain.
Some beach anglers are opting to use braided lines, which has advantages AND disadvantages in the surf.
Depending on the fish we are chasing, we may go up to 15 or 20 lb braking strain line.
