Keep in mind, I'm not against the speakers, I'd love to have a pair, but as a demo, this video is worthless.

You've shown us nothing beyond how willing you are to abuse your speaker to no productive end.

If you can't stand it, please move on. I say it once again, this was with no mechanical noise, so no distrortion or overdriving the speakers. They are designed for this. So please cut the crab on calling me a speaker abuser. They are still doing their job very nicely after 3 years and i take care on not destroying anything. I listen music at normal levels and thus enjoy them with music only. I'm a lover, not a hater!

Some of my friends were negative about the "cheap" cantons, but once they heard them, they were very suprised by the rich en clear sound, even at very high SPL's.

I hope you enjoy them as much as i do! May i ask what brand of amplifier you use? I use a Philips/Marantz, sound very warm and has good lows without sounding to sharp in the high frequencies.

Did you bother to check out the videos I linked to?

Keep in mind, I'm not down on your speakers, they're great. I'm just down on the idea that overdriven excursion tells you anything at all about a given speaker. It doesn't.

Why do I persist in comment? In the hope that you will dial it back and actually make a video showing us how good these speakers can sound rather than how thoroughly you can abuse them.

The first step in a good recording is - turn the volume down.

Again, good speakers, I'm sure they sound great, but you certainly haven't shown that to us, and YES, they are distorted and overdriven in your videos; painfully so.

Instead of showing how easily you can abuse them, how about showing us how sweet and silky they can sound when they are used properly?

Excursion means nothing, the worst speaker in the world can have great excursion. The true test is CLARITY.

I thin the first Post was not related on poor Speakers, it ment they are handled poor. The got raped by this excursion. They can do such excursions, but you don't conserve them by doing this.
