@ArcticSnoww But I don't hate Ethan. I think he's typically the kind of boys obsessed by recognition and appearances. So I have some pity for him... :/

Besides, he is no cause of the break up between J&B, but a consequence to what was happening in their relationship, at a certain point. There was a problem in their couple, and so the break up was helpfull. :)

@ArcticSnoww Ethan is a careerist. A smooth talker. Believe me, I fucked lots of 'em. He would have cheated on Justin sooner or later. Brian on the contrary, is very sensitive, so he needs a shell to hide his sensibility. But it's obvious that he could sacrifice everything for his boy. Ethan would not. That's for sure...

I don't hate his character, but he was still a boy and still wanted to screw around. That's not wrong, it just wasn't what Justin was about with him. But the overall QAF story line revolved around Brian's wonderfulness but social/emotional handicaps restricting him to showing it in his own way -- and everybody ragged him for it except Justin. Justin wouldn't accept that kind of infidelity from anyone else except Brian, but he was the only one whom Brian could complete by being incomplete.

I completely agree. I think the way it ended was bullshit. Ethan Gold wouldn't have done that,it was clear he really cared for Justin more than Brian ever showed and it was a copout what happened. A way to end their relationship and get Brian and Justin back together. I like B/J but at this point I would have preferred E/J. Only because their relationship seemed to have more MEANING to it and like I said, the way it ended was just not ringing for me. I definitely don't hate him.
