  • c'est du pure yeleen,respect a vous les gars.BECKS BENGOURO

  • Globalization its very nice, when people and their own cultures can be different from others. every musician got the rigth to create without walls and flags of a country or a race... but never sell is own culture.

i understand all your position, an in fact we agree.

    Thank you for the time..

    Keep the music alive.

  • Besides, it is important not to ignore the extent to which we have been alienated. We are still mentally colonized from toes to neck. Since earlier childhood, we are exposed to ideas that make us develop some complexes. Therefore, there is a need for mentally liberation and special education that will target that problem. However, to the group YELEEN, I believe you are doing a good job in playing an active role to get us back on the right track via the content of many of your songs. Thanks!

  • Also, one aspect in which these artists can help improve is correct the image of Africa abroad. If you knew all the shit these people think about Africa, you would not believe it. Most of the time, I feel sad to notice how ignorant are most westerners in regard to Africa. There are even some who have been to Africa and still have the wrong idea and keep spreading them. That is the reason why our artists need to be more involved and accurately represent our dear lively continent

  • It is also due to the fact one does not actually fully appreciate their culture if they do not get in contact with another culture. Another thing you should consider is that most of these artists cannot make it unless they sell in Europe. That is probably the reason why you see them going there. The colonizers have set such conditions that we cannot but depend on them, mentally as well as economically. The problem is far more complex than we think, however I am glad we are talking about it

  • I do not think you understood what I meant. I was just saying that the reason why this video clip is westernized is due to western influence. It is that way because most of us do not believe in our authenticity. People copy western styles because they do not really understand what they are really about. But once they will, you will see that they will automatically change their mind. Of course I do not want our artist to go to Europe and even perform there,...

  • No thanks!!

I don't understand you're position not even those musicians, what do you really want for our beloved Africa?? - to go to Europe make shows and drive big cars and have a lot of girls?? is that ??

For that just put the CD´s, you don´t need musicians!!

That's the old mentality that Americans gave to all world??

You don't see in what facts are history based??

  • This song is great and I like it. A lot of people have the wrong idea about Africa. How can Westerns occupy our lands for hundred of years and do not want to see a western influence there. But to Yeleen, make it all traditional with no lakers t-shirt and those American bullshit.
