Alfred R. Berkeley III Chairman, Pipeline Trading Systems & Former Chairman of NASDAQ talks with Hub Culture's Edie Lush in Davos at the World Economic Forum. Pipeline is a 5 year old company which builds trading systems for mutual funds. In the aftermath of the recession trading volumes are 40% from the peak. Al Berkeley says that as economies recover, there is a lot of cash sitting on the sidelines that will come back to the markets. Regarding President Obamas comments on banks, no one wants to tank the US economy. There's a difference between what gets into the papers and what the real thinking is going on amongst administration officials.
