  • Everyone seems to just love these little comment wars on YT. My guess is the closest most people who comment on these videos have come to serving in the military, is playing COD. The Russian's did not leave defeated. The government they backed in Afghanistan continued to stand until troops trained and supplied in Pakistan brought it down. As a former US soldier I can say that there is no more fearsome enemy or greater friend than the Russian soldier.

  • Soviet Union is AWSOME

  • qaisalikhail1 Can SUCK SOME GIGANTIC COCK UNITED STATES FOR THE WIN

  • @dave19941000 brainwashed

  • @warobsessive you were not defeated, you got your arses kicked

  • @GishabrunLOB when the signing ended the u.s. withdrew its forces so the u.s. did not lose vietnam read more history comrade.

  • @GishabrunLOB as a russian i admit u.s. did not lose vietnam papa served in vietnam too as a soviet military advisor by the time of tet the americans defeated the nva and vc all out assault and after that u.s. began withdrawing combat troops after their victory in tet at 1973 when u.s. successfully bombed hanoi in operation linebacker II the u.s. began withdrawing after that bombing so after the signing of henry kessinger of america and le duc tho of north vietnam

  • The US didn't commit to a total war against N. Vietnam for fear of provoking escalation with the Chinese and the Russians, both of whom had nukes. The US just ventured around the south while the N. Vietnamese threw their men away until USA got tired of slaughtering them and left. Getting tired and leaving is not: 1. losing or 2. getting their ass kicked.

  • Hitler did nothing right and the Germans STILL held off the Russians from 41 to 45, suffering only half the losses.

Not that any of that matters because WWII was a conventional war with conventional objectives. Vietnam was just waiting around and getting shot at. The only time the US took the fight to N. Vietnam and invaded Laos they stopped just a few km short of the largest Charlie base of them all because of some bullshit political reason and let the war drag on.

  • @wpaxton Well obviously they didn't matter when the US lost in Vietnam
