  • This guy`s just much more expresive than David Sanborn.

  • Nelson's been a favorite since I first laid ears on 'Playing For Keeps.' I once had the chance to talk to him for a few minutes at an 'open air' concert. One of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

  • Nelson Rangell > Kenny G(ay)

  • Big difference between Rangel and Sanborn, here, is Dave Grusin. I feel Sanborn has begun to "scream" too much.

  • adoro el estilo propio de cada uno de estos musicos

  • he said if someone wants to be in love with him should love this one. so i'm gonna say i love this one. then would it be true to love him? apart from the personal note, this is marvelous. two thumbs up!

  • @JazzySaxE : YES!.. Of Course... That is the great Dave Grusin, Older brother of Don. Both of them sitting at the keyboards, Dave at the Reg. Piano (white hair) and Don on the electric piano.

  • If you cant tell the difference between nelson and dave then some more homework needs to be done. The sound is different, not because they both have a raspy top end doesnt mean its the same.Technique is different thats a give.attack is different.and last is expression.

  • Awesome!!!!

  • donde puedo conseguir este dvd?... o blueray? pleaseeee....

  • Sry, but I can't hear, what make this saxsolo more magic than others. For me a magic solo is one, that you want to hear again and again. There are many improvisations, that I heard one time and then I WANTED to transcribe them. This isn't one of them...

But I want to know, who was there first, Sanborn or Rangell. They look so much like the same :D (and also sounds a LITTLE bit equal, but not much)

  • One of my favorites of all times. It just makes me feel good. Posting it on my blog in a few minutes. Musicians at work fascinate me.
