I'm not an expert on 1,000 year old eggs but I think that usually they are black in color. As you can see, this egg is white. It's still a preserved egg.

  • U know that people don't just it it by itself, it is treated as a condiment in china. It usually goes with rice congee. In fact, it goes really well with rice, or any mild tasting soups.
