Indian tribes had been killing each other for 1000s of years before European tribes - who had also been killing each other over the same length of time - arrived. Custer was no better and no worse - personally - than his adversaries. He was just backed by better technologies and a greater commitment to our way of being. Think Hutus and Tutsis or Brahmans and Dalits. Some lost. Some won. Very Darwinian, no? Thank God for Jesus the Christ. Otherwise, as one finite human to another - sorry.
