The beginning music reminds me of Tangerine Dream.

@borderite88 That's right, but the opening sequence was taken from the "Wrath of Khan." It includes part of the Genesis Project summary and a shot of the Enterprise going to warp. Both Sega and Paramount have acknowledged the footage was in there, but thanks to copyright law, this game will most likely never see the light of day on any gaming system.

@borderite88 And the beginning sequence is from Star Trek 2. Also footage from battle beyond the stars is in the game as well. 3 science fiction movies were used.
I really wish they would allow more than Dragon's Lair and Space Ace to be on todays systems (this game and cliffhanger are the wish they would make them list)
