At 6:55 Worf call Riker with the rank of Commander... Wasn't he promoted to Captain?!... What am I missing here?..

Aren´t they called commander just because he IS commanding? Data is called commander one minute later.... Maybe he is automatically commanding officer but would still have to be promoted to be called captain. If not, imagine the whole bridge being killed and a small cadett becomes "captain" over night :-)

While Riker was acting as captain of the Enterprise, he had not received a promotion in rank. He still held the rank of Commander. Data was referred to as commander as a short term for Lt. Commander. It is a reference that is made quite often throughout the series.
