I did this project for my Soc. 399 class. I wanted to do something that really meant a lot to me, not just some topic that I could easily put together with no passion. I know I may not be the best at putting youtube videos together as this is my first one, but this really means a lot to me to end the discrimination that is still occurring in the gay community. I know that in this one video I won't be able to end homophobia or for that matter cure the discriminatory views of those against gay rights and equality, but I feel like any step in a positive direction is one that can help. My hope is that from watching you might get a better understanding that there is no difference from being gay, straight, bi, or transgender. You are who you are, and no one should tell you any differently.
