@MitchyDubb when you first start stitching, you're supposed to go forward a few stitches, and go backward over the same stitches (you can see her quickly go forward, backward and forward again at both the beginning and end of her stitch lines-look closely and look for it!), then stitch back in the direction you need to go. Do the same at the end of the stitch, go as far as you need to, back a few stitches and forward again to the end of your stitch line. This eliminates the need for any knots!

does this sewing machine automatically make a knot after you quilt, or do you do something to make a knot? I am new to sewing and I have noticed you did not hand tie any of the thread after you cut it.
