The braze looks like hmmmm. But if it holds..Ok

nice job on the installation great workmanship on the sheetmetal transition. I'm gonna assume that this job is done either up north or the northern westcoast area where the relative humidity will not affect the ductwork not being insulated. Unlike here in the gulf south, in New Orleans particularly where the relative humidity always over 80% even in the winter sometimes. Again nice job.

Great job on the video and install!!

Oops, sorry, I see the nitrogen in Part 4. Sorry about that.

Have you tried using nitrogen flowing through the copper tube while brazing? It prevents oxidation on the inside and means the internal system stays much cleaner. God series thanks.

Nice work! top marks on DIY Sheet-metal and HVAC brazing!
looks great! good job on the ducting especialy considering you dont have a bender! im not sure weather you need soldier flux when doing copper joints like when doing brass but it may stop the black stuff forming.
very interesting!

@Jaytheozzi Thanks!
The brazing rod I'm using has phosphorus, which is supposed to act as a flux, no extra flux needed. This only works on copper though, for brass you need flux.

It's sooo humid here in Ohio that you almost have to swim out there.
I dread to think what we'd do without A.C.? I bet you get it running ASAP!

@umajunkcollector I've actually got a bunch of old window units set up to keep the house cool in the meantime. It works pretty well, but I'd definitely prefer the main system. I was at Cedar Point in Ohio at the beginning of June, it was quite humid. We drove by a hotel that had no AC, I feel sorry for those people!
