  • I like the introduce, offer, and where do you want to go method of offering help. But I hate how the narrater goes on about how difficult stairs, doors, and markets can be. Such discourse increases fear for the blind and makes it hard for the public to feel okay with a blind person who rejects help, and that's a problem!

  • This may be in the UK, but it certainly works here in the U.S. as well. I am teaching my nephew and rest of the family how to priorly handle situations like this and having this video on hand will certainly make my hob a lot easier.

  • I've been in a few traveling situations where people didn't know how to assist me properly.

This video can be bennificial for those who don't know how to assist people who're blind.

  • this was definitely a good video. it has helpful information in a neutral tone (not patronizing). i appreciate the emphasis that we are able to do most things on our own and help is something we only need sometimes in a limited number of situations. smile.

  • This is a really good video, it informs people who are not visualy impared what to look for when a visual impared person needs helping. i'm just about to learn long cain skills so it really helped :)

  • I am married to a vision impaired person, and would love more people to understand how to support my husband so he will feel safer and more confident when out and about. This video is a great help. Please check out part 2.

  • I've been totally blind since birth. This was a very good video and it explained a lot. I've added a link to it on my forum so the members there can learn these techniques. Even if they don't know anyone who is blind right now they might be able to help someone by watching this video.
