  • My pyr, Jimmy, is 2 years old now and this is so much like him. Sometimes he wants to be a loner and do his own thing, but if he wants to play or snuggle, look out! He sits next to me whenever I'm in a certain chair in my house and starts to make noise if I don't pet him. He's my big teddybear!

  • @ximsgirl Pyrs are the world's biggest lap-dogs.

  • I just got a 9 week old pyrenees puppy today... Oh man I did not know what I was getting myself into.. when they say extra large they really mean extra large... I've seen pictures of them grown but seeing yours in comparison to a person... Wowza. This is going to be an adventure! First step, potty training :P

  • @Rawrockkills10 Best of luck with your Pyr. They are the best. Very loving and very loyal. The puppy's first year is the hardest. They get into everything. Be patient. It pays off. Don't forget to take lots of pictures and video. Post the vids on youtube and let me know.

  • Ur dog is so cute. but if ur first dog was a guard dog, is albert one too? or is he one of those dogs that are happy go lucky?

  • @TheJazzylee123

Hi there! Our first Pyr, Claudia was the runt of the litter. Even at 8 weeks old, she wouldn't let me put her on her back. That is one part of the temperment test. She protected my wife and was always very serious. Albert on the other hand, is a total clown. He will 'turn on' his protective side if he wants to, or if I give him the 'secret' command. Albert loves all kids, most dogs and to be petted.

  • Oh it's AKAMARU !! you've grown big aren't you , where's kiba ? xD

  • Hi there!

Albert is 32 inches at the shoulder. He's 135 lbs. and is a total mama's-boy. He sleeps on the bed with us every night along with our two cats. He turned 3 on Oct. 15th. Our first Pyr was a total guard dog. At 89 lbs., Claudia thought she was 400 lbs. She would have been an excellent U.S. Marine. hehehehe

  • i had one long time ago and we spent 15 years together. It wasn't Pyrenees dog but the Maremman dog ( a parent of it) and i love it so much....

  • I cant imagine having a pyrenees in the house, let alone in bed. Mine barks outside all night and sleeps all day. And smells and drools and SHEDS. Such a sweety though. They are an incridibly affectionate dog. I have to brush her for about a week in the spring to get her winter coat off. The brushing fills a garbage can every spring. Would I get another one? Absolutely. I got mine from a shelter. Someone couldn't deal with it I guess. She has total freedom here on the farm

  • Oh my god its a bear

  • " You cannot resist MAH LUUURRRV!!!!"

  • What a cutie:D

  • @Richardschulzeca Actually, Great Danes may have the Pyrs beat on the lap dog issue. Either wait, both are cuddlers. I'm about to adopt one in a few months myself.

  • Albert has a really nice pillow there. How old is he??

  • That dog is so cute I can't wait until I get one
