Nothing can beat a home cooked food -- whatever that means for you. But as a chef I'm reminded everyday that what people really want is comfort food.
As a native of Venezuela to me nothing starts my days off better than Arepa's for breakfast.
Originating from the northern Andes Mountains in South America this treat has now spread to other areas of Latin America and onward to the US Mainland.
When I'm in South Florida which is my home away from home. Nobody does it better then the crew at Las Orquideas in Ft. Laurderdale.
