This is my first do it yourself video so hope you like it.
In this video i will show you how to modify an official Nintendo 64 rumble pack so you can use it without batteries.

Warning: Do not do this if you don't feel comfortable opening the rumble pack.

You've got to have some soldering skills
I'm not responsible for any damage you do to the rumble or the Nintendo 64
IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE DOING THIS TYPE OF THINGS DON'T DO IT!!

  • Com esse mod, o controller treme com a mesma intensidade, como faria com pilhas?

    Onde acho esses resistores?

  • @ryhorn77 Sim treme com a mesma intensidade como mostra o video é só mudar o que já lá estava de sitio.

  • Would the N64 have enough power for 4 controllers and 4 rumble packs?

  • @theimporter I don't think so with 2 controllers i know it works ok, i think that with 4 controllers the n64 don't have power enough.

  • are there any negative effects of doing this on either the controller or console long term?

  • @SatoshiMatrix1 I don't think so since i have made this mod both my n64 and my controller are normal it´s been more than 5 years.

  • eu fiz isso com o meu a uns 4 anos a traz

  • Cool, works great. Thanks.

  • cool, thanks a lot!

  • Very cool, thanks for the video, I will most likely do this myself. Quick question, is the strength of the rumble/vibration exactly the same before and after the mod?

  • I have performed this mod and can confirm that it does indeed work.

  • Tip, if you dont want to buy a special screwdriver, then what you can do is melt the tip of a pen with a lighter and press it against one of the screws. When the plastic cools it molds around the screw.

  • is working
