There was a television show about British blues a few years back where he did a number with I believe Jeff Beck that was outstanding. Now I gotta go look for it.

wow, I didnt know so many sang this song, nor did I know Louis Armstrong wrote. Either way, it is beautiful and powerful...and very relateable. I don't have that great of a relationship with my mother, so I have felt like a motherless child. Anyways...playing this is remeberance of my grandfather, RIP GPA, I love you always.

This is truly an outstanding track. Powerful, soulful singing from TJ & superb arrangement by Portishead. Even the modulation is fitting.

I'm 24 and I've known about him for years..
But then again a lot of people that are of my age group listen to really shitty music like Linkin Park and Green Day. It's very unfortunate. People my age have asked "Is Jimi Hendrix black or white?" *sighs in disgust*
