CHSPJ English Drama Team 2009 performing in Petaling Utama District English Drama Competition (2)

This is a second part of a three-part video series displaying the performance of "The Tragic History of Dr. Faustus" by the SMJK Katholik English Drama Team Year 2009 in the Petaling Utama District English Language Drama Competition 2009 that was held on 9th of April Year 2009, in Dewan Berjaya of SMK Taman SEA.

The play continues with Dr. Faustus expressing his satisfaction after the Twin goddesses of Lust's presentation. Then, Mephistopheles introduces the next pair of characters, goddess of Greed (played by Ng Hui Xin) and the goddess of Envy (played by June Lee), which continued by the two goddesses' presentation. Faustus again expresses his delight upon receiving the two goddesses. Next, Mephistopheles introduces the god of Wrath (played by Benjamin Yau) and Wrath presents himself. Faustus was seen to be influenced by Wrath during Wrath's presentation. Finally, Mephistopheles introduces the last gods and goddesses, which is the goddess of Pride (played by Than Re Gin), and this is followed by Pride introducing herself.

After all gods and goddesses' presentation, Faustus expresses his enjoyment and gratitude towards Lucifer. Mephistopheles then lets the gods and goddesses to be with Faustus, and this ends the first act of the drama.

The second act of the drama commence with Lucifer's (played by Lee Ti Lun) soliloquy, introducing himself, and then stating that he enjoys the suffering of people in Hell, and he needs more people to suffer, which is easy to get them from the human realm. Then, he said that his kingdom will rule so long as his servants (which he meant Mephistopheles and the seven "gods and goddesses") do their job as well as they now have done.

The end of Act II also concludes the second part of the video.
