Is there an equal number of all the types? Like, since people form their type party because of their childhood, are more situations more common, so are there more, say, 6s then some other type?

While there are no data supporting this issue either way, it seems to me that the types are equally distributed in the population. Also, while much of the way our type manifests itself is shaped by our environment, I believe that we are born with our type. Being the father of three small boys, I was able to see the types in my sons as early as 9 to 12 months.
