Thanks for this video. So everything is recorded in HD? or rather, will I be able to record in any monitor resolution I have it set as (1080p for ex)?

@CyberMarketing17 No im sorry you have that wrong. The capture card is what sets the resolution not your monitor. Easycap resolution is:

NTSC: 720 x 480 @ 30fps

PAL: 720 x 576 @ 25fps

So its not HD but it is Standard definition. Dont forget this is a cheap way of doing it. You can get easycap for like £6. Pay more money and you will get better quality and resolutions. So just to clarify, you will be able to record footage at 720 x 480(NTSC), 720 x 576(PAL). Thanks.

@12dart12 idk why but it didnt work. i followed everything you said. you know in the video when it's 3:58, in the videostudio, for mine, the option for the source is "USB2.0 Grabber", while yours is something syntek STK 1150? I tried that USB2.0 Grabber option, but it didnt work. Probably it's the problem with the software that I got in the CD. I think my CD is a fake. I downloaded Ulead VideoStudio 11. Can you give any advise? Thank you

@vraeleragon92 Well the fact that its a different name, means that it has a different driver. I lost my driver disk and when i came to reinstall on my new computer i was stuck. So i used the DC60 driver which works great. Look around for new drivers.

@12dart12 yea i looked around for new driver and tried them. i found stk1150 and 160 too. i restarted so many times to make sure it's not because of reboot stuff, but still it doesn't work. do you think i should get a newCAP? I'm using windows 7 64bit. Everytime ulead looks for source, it keeps coming back to my integrated webcam.
