Ms Zhang mixed Hydrogen Peroxide and detergent in a measuring cylinder and added Potassium Iodide solution.

Then a match was put into the foam to show oxygen.

:D All on the last day of term :D (Y)

  • i tried this after school in the chem room, but it didnt turn out so, exciting, it sort just bubbled over, what was the molarity of the potssium iodide solution

  • ive tried it before it stings if you touch it.

  • ok yeah i got it now, the molarity is about 2-3, yet it doesnt really matter, because when i tried it, i forgot the detergent, so no bubbly...
