yo dude i need some help. i just bought a new psp 3001 version 6.20. my first psp. can i mod this psp? i heard you cant downgrade a 6.20. please help

idk, i have never heard much on PSP 3001's. but you can go ahead and try.

The worst that could happen would be you have the PB and the MMS, the PSP will turn on normally, but you can't install the CFW.

hey i did it like you said but i accidently cut the sides of the battery and cut the thing labaled 4 what should I do

@DMD03 put the screen on the brightest setting, play a movie and turn the volume up to the loudest setting or play a game :)

@ussoldier73 I also have the psp 1001 and you have to make a pandora battery :) dont try the chickhen stuff, they will mess your device up

Any fast ways to drain the battery?

I got a fat psp 1001 and i had put cfw chicken gen 5.50 and everything that came along with it and one day i decided to try restore back to org. firmware and didn't do it right now i got black screen green light and no recovery mode do i have to have a pandora battery or can i just use memory card try to just losd everything back on it cause i notice when i read the card there was only a couple of folders on it
