I live in Chicago and am very familiar with Karyn's.. I have been to her restaurants several times, both raw and cooked, heard her speak a few times and every time I'm in the deli or restaurant and I run into her i'm always starstruck!! She is such an inspiration to me. I admire her realness, drive.. she's very beautiful and so well spoken. It's so true that people into raw/health foods can be so focused and life is so short and we should be able to juggle more than just what we eat.

Personally, I don't care that she's 62, or how she looks... I find it way more inspiring that she went through so much crap in her life, and STILL managed to pull through and get to where she is today.

God, she has strength, passion and focus! If you can approach life with those things you are bound to find happiness. She has to bottle that, think of the takers! Come on you guys, find a way to capture that so that we can add that to our smoothies every morning!
