  • The only real ways to make it seem to be getting out and touring hard. Making a huge record and getting a good label behind you tend to be part of that.

  • @nbrothergtr Yeah dude. Just gotta get gigs going and find people who are willing to play a shit ton of gigs and put their all into it. It's so much about being in the right place at the right time and have so much luck by your side.

  • @otusqueeky1

Like anything, by the time you accomplish a goal you will have already surpassed it. Here in the states, bands that make generic run-of-the-mill songs will get help from radio and sponsors because that is what people are used to and that is what companies think will sell. You've modeled much of your sound on Sleep and even they have been more successful after breaking up. Lean on your abilities and completed art rather than your luck. Be clever to network and branch out.

  • @nbrothergtr Yeah, that's true. Thanks a lot for the advice man! Really aiming for versitility and forming a proper band.

  • bandcamp.com is a great place to sell your stuff. You can put out ep's yourself. Just put down around $400-600 for the pressing and sell the records. It's more of an investment that only pays itself off but distros and stores will help you out. You could also set up a paypal and mail your merch to customers.

  • @nbrothergtr Thanks a lot man! Definetly checking that out.

  • 18?! Holy shit I thought you were like 23 man.

  • It's great to hear how much work you're putting into this and how serious you are about it. You're the real thing—don't doubt it. I agree with you and others who have said D.R.O.N.E was the right length—an hour or two would have asked too much of listeners. I'll be looking forward to the great stuff I know will be coming from you. Not everything you do suits my tastes, but it's all got style and quality.

  • @otusqueeky1 Don't waste your time with people who aren't all in. You're obviously serious about really doing this. People who aren't will just hold you back. You're past the point where you can be involved with part-timers.

  • You asked about how to get more publicity. I can say personally I don't know how to get your music. You should make some descriptions on where to download it.

  • @Andez666 Kiitti! Laita ihmeessä!

  • @Monklakknp Oh yeah, I tried torrenting it, but it turned out too complicated. I should consider downloading/buying it again, because it apparently kicks ass.
