the reason they gave machida the win was because to be the champion you have to clearly take out the champion. machida's fought so many good guys and is undefeated so you can't become the champion just by throwing leg and body kicks. shogun's strategy was a great one though. but now that machida knows his strategy, the rematch will be interesting. the dragon is not gonna give up the belt that easily.

Further, leg on leg doesn't score as well as fist on face or knee on face as Lyoto landed a fair amount more on Rua. Neither where KOed so a rematch is necessary. Anyone notice how women know so little about fighting. I guess being a fan of something you can never master combined with sexual desire most spur their screwed up selves onward. Cowardly MMA girls probrably won't approve this comment...lol.

Because he used to put on some of the most boring fights ever. I was at his fight against Tito at UFC 86 and it was frustrating.
